Responsibilities

Appraise medical risks for life insurance applications using age, occupation, medical history and other factors.
Assess adverse medical findings requiring medical opinion for acceptance/rejection of coverage.
Evaluate medical condition and analyze applicant test results.
Underwrite new and existing business.
Recommend, accept, or reject coverage within underwriting policy limits.
Handle routine, non-routine, and renewal cases.
Refer difficult cases to superiors and summarize financial documents.
