Department of Social Services - Finance in Pierre, SD is hiring a Medical Travel Specialist for a full-time 40-hour work week. The role supports Non-Emergency Medicaid Travel (NEMT) providers and recipients, handling travel claims, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate processing using Excel, Word, and Outlook.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Competenze

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of claims processing practices and procedures (preferred).
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Mansioni

• Respond to emails and calls from providers and recipients to identify and resolve issues related to submitted claims.
• Process and billings for payment of travel claims.
