Job summary

The Department of Social Services - Finance in Pierre, SD is seeking a Medical Travel Specialist to assist Non-Emergency Medicaid Travel providers and recipients with travel claims. You will respond to emails and calls, identify and resolve issues, and help process claims and billings for payment using Excel, Word, and Outlook.

This full-time 40-hour-per-week position requires attention to detail and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Non-Emergency Medicaid Travel (NEMT) providers and recipients with travel claims.
• Respond to emails and calls to identify and resolve issues related to submitted claims.
• Process claims and billings for payment using standard systems.
