Job summary

Ali Medical Transport, a regional leader in non-emergency medical transportation, seeks a Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to oversee our Virginia operations. The role focuses on routing, driver dispatch, and daily trip manifests to keep patients moving safely and on time.

You will communicate with facilities, insurers, and clients, serve as the main point of contact for drivers, and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience dispatching with a logistics mindset.
• Ability to manage variables such as vans, drivers, drive time, and time off.
• Strong digital, phone, and written communication (handle 100+ calls daily).
• In-depth knowledge of the Richmond metro area (ZIP codes, streets, regions).
• Ability to handle high workload and competing priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create routes and dispatch drivers efficiently while maximizing multiloading.
• Communicate with insurers, facilities, and clients to confirm trips and acknowledge cancellations.
• Serve as main contact for drivers and clients.
• Plan next-day trips with a comprehensive daily manifest.
• Create routes and dispatch drivers while maximizing efficiency and multiloading.
• Assist and delegate office tasks with the team.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
