Summary

The responsibility of a transcriptionist is to transcribe and edit all notes dictated on the Digital Dictation System in an acceptable, pre-determined timely manner, thus making it available in the patient's medical record quickly, helping to ensure quality care.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Education and Work Experience:
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Must possess 2 years experience transcribing in acute care setting.
• Must be experienced in operation of standard web-based PC transcription software/hardware.
