DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a transcriptionist to support our laboratory team. Normal hours are 9-5:30, with one evening shift a week from 12pm–8pm to cover patient testing and documentation. You will listen to recordings, transcribe to text, maintain accuracy, review grammar and spelling, and format transcripts per client requirements.

You will fax completed reports to the provider. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, company paid life

Qualifications

• Ability to type quickly and accurately while proofreading.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating system
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous transcription experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Listen to and transcribe recordings to text files.
• Maintain accuracy while transcribing texts.
• Complete transcriptions in a timely manner; reviewing grammar, punctuation and spelling prior to submission.
• Format and notate transcriptions based on specific client requirements.
• Correct any errors or inaccuracies in a timely manner.
• Fax completed reports to the appropriate provider.
