Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Medical/Telemetry RN for a full-time night shift on the Medical/Telemetry Unit. You will deliver safe, patient-centered care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and participate in care coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
