Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Medical Technologist on a per diem basis in Microbiology. The role requires performing established procedures and evaluating results for accuracy and reporting to appropriate personnel.

You'll contribute to quality assurance, evaluate new procedures, and enjoy flexible scheduling including II shift, weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will have relevant lab training and meet CLIA requirements; ASCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution (CLIA acceptable).
• Associate degree in laboratory science (chemical/biological) or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting CLIA requirements.
• ASCP certification strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following:
• Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution
• Associates degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined by CLIA
• ASCP strongly preferred.

Salary Range:45.00 - 45.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
