Job summary

Deborah is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine and special diagnostics in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood Bank and Microbiology. The candidate may serve as a supervisor occasionally and assist in training new hires.

Requirements include a BS/AS in Medical Technology or related field, and certification preferred; 1 year lab experience is preferred. Bi-weekly hours are 80 with benefits including extensive healthcare and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate of Science degree in Medical Technology, Medical Lab Sciences or related field.
• ASCP/ASMT/NCA/HHS/ASPT or related certification preferred; board-eligible MT/MLT.
• Preferably 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special diagnostics testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood Bank and Microbiology.
• Serves as a general supervisor on occasion and assists in training new hires.
• Provides prompt, accurate and reliable lab procedures following hospital policies.
