Job summary

Genesis Reference Laboratories is seeking a Medical Technologist – Molecular to join our Molecular Testing Department in Centennial, Colorado. The role performs molecular diagnostic testing and related lab activities to ensure accurate, timely patient results.

The candidate will contribute to assay validation, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining a compliant and organized lab environment. Eligible benefits accompany a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology may be considered based on qualifications and applicable laboratory requirements.
• 1-2 years of molecular testing or relevant laboratory experience.
• PCR experience required.

Reports to: Molecular Supervisor
Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Location: 6547 S Racine Cir, Suite 1100, Centennial, CO 80111

Genesis Reference Laboratories is seeking a Medical Technologist – Molecular to join our Molecular Testing Department in Centennial, Colorado. This position performs molecular diagnostic testing and related laboratory activities while supporting accurate, timely, and compliant patient testing.

Essential Duties

• Perform specimen processing, molecular testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
• Review, analyze, and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Perform quality assurance and proficiency testing activities.
• Assist with assay validation, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain required laboratory records and documentation.
• Follow applicable laboratory, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
• Perform other laboratory duties as assigned.
• Pay rate will be experience related.
