Overview:

The Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques. They provide medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis, performing duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Technician

• Education: Associate degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT
• Certification/Registration: MLT ASCP or equivalent

OR

Medical Technologist I

• Associate degree with MLT ASCP certification & 3 years clinical experience
• Approved Military Training (if applicable)

OR

Medical Technologist II

• Bachelor's degree
• MT or MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent
