Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess specimen acceptability for testing based on criteria
• Perform routine and complex testing procedures per SOPs
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
• Prepare and evaluate reagents and controls
• Report accurate results promptly for quality patient care
• Maintain quality control and perform preventative maintenance
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with specimen processing
• Maintain a safe work environment with PPE

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements
• At least 1 year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degree
• Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Proficient with computers; LIS familiarity is a plus
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass color vision screening
• Flexibility for overtime/shifts as needed
