Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond, IA is seeking a Full-Time Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.

The role focuses on maintaining competency in blood banking, hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and PCR analysis, while performing phlebotomy for all ages and overseeing daily lab operations including QC and testing.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA requirements.
• MT/MLT Certification or degree from a medical tech program with HHS certification.

• Becoming and remaining competent in blood banking, hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, PCR analysis.
• Performing phlebotomy on all age groups.
• Responsible for daily operations of the laboratory, including QC, patient testing and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Must meet all CLIA Requirements
• MT/MLT Certification Or degree from an approved Medical Tech school with HHS certification.
