Well-qualified candidates with less than 2 years of experience are eligible to receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus! Candidates with more than 2 years of experience are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. This bonus will be prorated for Part-Time or Per Diem positions. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are available if needed. Please note, this bonus is not available to current MaineHealth employees or those who have been separated for less than 6 months.
The Medical Laboratory Technician role is responsible for independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens. This includes confirming, interpreting, correlating, and reporting normal and abnormal results, recognizing technical, instrumental, or physiological problems, and initiating resolutions. The role also involves ensuring accuracy, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
