Summary
Well-qualified candidates with less than 2 years of experience are eligible to receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus! Candidates with more than 2 years of experience are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. This bonus will be prorated for Part-Time or Per Diem positions. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are available if needed. Please note, this bonus is not available to current MaineHealth employees or former employees separated for less than 6 months.
The Medical Laboratory Technician role involves independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens. The technician confirms, interprets, correlates, and reports normal and abnormal results, recognizes technical, instrumental, and physiological issues, and initiates resolutions. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
