This position is eligible for a hiring bonus!
Well-qualified candidates with less than 2 years of experience are eligible to receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus! Candidates with more than 2 years of experience are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. This bonus will be prorated for Part-Time or Per Diem positions. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are available if needed. Please note, this bonus is not available to current MaineHealth employees or those who have been separated for less than 6 months.
Summary:
The Medical Technologist is responsible for independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens, confirming, interpreting, correlating, and reporting results, and recognizing technical, instrumental, or physiological issues to initiate resolutions. Ensures accuracy, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
