General Description:

Under the supervision of the area Section Heads and Laboratory Supervisor, and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of laboratory tests and reports data for diagnosis and treatment of patients. May perform procedures across major laboratory areas or specialize in one such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, or Microbiology. No supervision is required for specimen processing or reporting patient test results.

Work Experience/Requirements:

• Experience in a Laboratory.
• LIS experience is a plus.

Education:

• Registered MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
