General Description: Under the general supervision of the area Section Heads and Laboratory Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of laboratory tests and reports data for the use in diagnosis and treatment of patients. May perform procedures across the major areas of the laboratory or concentrate in one area such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, or Microbiology. No supervision is required for specimen processing or reporting of patient test results.
