Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, a related field in science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of all areas in the laboratory demonstrated through interview process.
• Knowledge of computerized document systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests accurately and in a timely fashion following established guidelines and physician orders.
• Report tests in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner in compliance with laboratory procedures.
• Perform QC data analysis and maintain accuracy and precision.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment and monitor laboratory temperatures.
• Operate instruments with established protocols and perform maintenance as required.
• Identify and resolve problems that may affect test analyses and notify supervisors when appropriate.
• Assist with inventory and contribute to process improvements.
