Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the laboratory section's operations and technical activities. You will ensure quality control, validate methods, and maintain data integrity while complying with all regulations and policies. The role requires leadership in daily lab activities and ongoing staff oversight.
The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Medical Technology or related field, with at least five years in a clinical lab and ASCP BOC MLS certification
Leads the operational and technical management of the laboratory section, ensuring rigorous quality control, method validation, and data integrity, including assessment of linearity and result correlation. Directs daily activities while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedural standards.
Bachelor of Science degree In Medical Technology or relevant medical or scientific discipline required.
At least five years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP BOC or equivalent.
Supervisory experience preferred.
