Mercy Fort Smith Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas seeks a Medical Technologist for a PRN/Part-time role in the Laboratory. You will perform tests across Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Serology, and Urinalysis, collect specimens, calibrate equipment, and document workloads using the LIS and related systems.

Education: Associate's degree required; MT/MLS certification or within 6 months of hire; Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years of clinical laboratory experience

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Serology and Urinalysis.
• Collect specimens, operate and maintain routine equipment.
• Inventory control, quality control, calibration, and workload recording.
• Use LIS and related computer programs for patient care documentation.
