Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Medical Technologist II responsible for accurate identification and analysis of specimens and the technical supervision of Lab Assistants across all lab sections.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and compliance with the Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA requirements; ASCP/MLS MT or MT AMT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university.
• Meet Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA personnel requirements for a Technologist.

• Identify and analyze constituents or organisms in samples to diagnose disease.
• Review all technical work performed by Lab Assistants.
