A leading healthcare company in Raleigh seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician to perform specialized tests, ensure quality control, and oversee laboratory projects. Performs routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Utilizes equipment, instruments, and computer systems. Evaluates and reports patient results using independent judgment within established testing methods. Performs quality control and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies. Assists in developing and implementing new procedures and instrumentation. May oversee laboratory projects related to performance improvement, safety, quality control, regulatory compliance, staff development, and computer systems. Trains new employees and students, serving as a resource for less experienced staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology required, or Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completed NAACLS accredited program recognized by the ASCP Board as qualifying for the MLT. Alternatively, a related field Bachelor's Degree with certification/licensure required within 6 months of hire, or an Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completed NAACLS accredited program recognized by the ASCP Board as qualifying for the MLT. Preferred experience includes 2 years in clinical laboratory moderate and high complexity testing.
