Qualifications

  • Completion of a nationally recognized certification examination for clinical laboratory scientists, such as ASCP or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in the English language required.

Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in a biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a twelve month clinical laboratory training program approved by the Department of Education and/or accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or equivalent.
  • Completion of a nationally recognized certification examination for clinical laboratory scientists, such as that offered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in the English language required.
