Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, seeks qualified clinical laboratory professionals to support Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology subspecialties across shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree with an accredited medical technology program and have some clinical laboratory experience; applicants may include student experiences. The lab supports high-complexity testing and dedicated reference lab duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred.
• One-year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable).
• CFR/CLIA-related high-complexity testing qualifications may be considered as evaluated under CLIA ’88.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties related to one or more of the clinical subspecialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift.
• For Microbiology, plate reading experience is required.
• Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care job postings.
• For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting.
