Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey seeks a clinical laboratory professional to perform essential duties across subspecialties including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology.

Experience in Microbiology plate reading is preferred; a Bachelor's degree with a medical technology program is preferred or CLIA high-complexity qualifications. Schedule requires every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• One-year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable).
• Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred.
• Alternatively, possesses qualifications for high complexity testing as evaluated against CLIA ’88.

• Performs essential duties related to one or more clinical subspecialties based on shift.
• For Microbiology, plate reading experience is required.
• Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care postings.

Short Description

• For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting.
