Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Medical Technician for a 383-bed acute care facility in Brooksville, FL. This role involves performing clinical laboratory testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology, while also managing specimen collection and processing tasks.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree in Medical Technology, possess a Florida State License, and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital laboratory. Blood Bank experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Medical Technology with formal training required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Florida State License as a Medical Technologist required.
• Nationally recognized Medical Technologist certification (ASCP preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology.
• Handle specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
• Work independently and cover all areas of the lab.
