Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Technologist Generalist for the second shift. The role involves examining and performing tests across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion Service to provide accurate patient data.

The position is 12 hours per week with a $43.00 per hour rate plus shift differentials and potential completion bonus if hours and requirements are met. MT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or equivalent (AMT/HEW/ASCP MT).
• Minimum one year of high complexity testing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion Service.
• Provide accurate patient management information to clinicians.
• May be trained in all or selected areas based on laboratory needs; ensure compliance with lab and center plans.
