Firelands Health seeks a Medical Technologist for the Bellevue location to work FT Nights on-site. The role performs comprehensive laboratory testing across multiple departments to aid diagnosis and treatment. You will ensure timely, accurate results and maintain QC and maintenance records.

The position emphasizes competency across areas, mobile ability, color differentiation, and attention to detail, with a 90-day probation and on-site responsibilities at Firelands Health.

Qualificações

• Degree in a laboratory science (chemical, physical, biological, or clinical) or medical laboratory technology required; certification as (or eligible to become certified) MLT/MLS required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Ability to be mobile.
• Ability to differentiate colors and perform accurate observations.
• Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
• Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs laboratory tests and procedures to provide physicians information that aids in diagnosis and treatment.
• Performs tests in all areas of the laboratory (blood bank, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, serology) with timely reporting.
• Maintains work lists and ensures results are appropriate for all age groups before posting to records.
• Maintains equipment and proper documentation (temperature charts, QC logs).
• Ensures competency across areas of the laboratory.
• Maintains adequate supplies and proper bench documentation.
