Job summary

SmartSolutions is expanding its Medical Technologist role in Albany, OR. You will walk the floor at handoff, monitor patients, and manage a remote panel of chronic patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

You are expected to draw labs, perform point-of-care testing, and escalate abnormal results to the supervising clinician, while mentoring newer staff and adapting to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on command of Telemetry Monitoring and ability to manage concurrent priorities.
• Strong project management capability and adaptability to shifting needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered communication.

Responsibilities

• Walk the Albany, OR floor at handoff, laying eyes on every patient before you sign out.
• Carry Albany caseload while precepting the mid-level new grads behind you.
• Draw labs, run point-of-care testing, and flag abnormal panels to the supervising clinician.
• Manage a remote panel of chronic patients, calling between visits when NRP Certification numbers drift.
• Partner with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Anchor the remote care team through Phlebotomy and Flexibility cases from intake to follow-up at Albany, OR.
