Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares specimens according to standard protocols.
• Performs laboratory tests and calculations to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintains quality control procedures and evaluates test performance.
• Calibrates, maintains and monitors analytical equipment.
• Performs phlebotomy procedures as appropriate when needed.
• Maintains patient data confidentiality.
