Location: Lancaster General Hospital - Lancaster, PA

Schedule: Part‑time, 20 hours per week, Overnights – 10 pm – 6:30 am + every 3rd weekend (2/3 holidays per year)

Job Summary

• Performs routine and special diagnostic test procedures, supports quality control and documentation, function verification, instrument maintenance, associated specimen collection, and clerical work as required. Blood bank experience is a plus!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a medical lab science program or medical laboratory technician program.
• MT, MLT, or an equivalent credential issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, or eligibility to take such exam. Laboratory area specific certification is a plus.
• Minimum one year of clinical internship or laboratory experience.

Credentials

• MLT or C‑MLS (Required).
• MT, MLT, or an equivalent credential issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, or eligibility to take such exam. ASCP or equivalent laboratory area specific certification required.

Education or Equivalent Experience

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required).
• Bachelor or Associate of Science in MLT (Required).
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required).
• Other relevant educational or experiential background.
• One year of clinical internship or laboratory experience required.
