Job summary

Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA is hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine and special diagnostic tests, support quality control, and maintain instruments. The role includes specimen collection and clerical duties in a busy clinical laboratory.

The candidate will have an MT/MLT certification, an associate degree or higher, and at least one year of clinical internship or lab experience. Evening shifts with a sign-on bonus are offered.

• MT, MLT, or certification issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (or equivalent) and eligibility to take the exam. May also hold a laboratory area‑specific certification.
• One year of clinical internship or laboratory experience.
• Associate’s degree (required). Bachelor’s degree or Associate of Science in MLT is also preferred.
• H.S. Diploma/GED (required).
