Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in Medical Technology or related field required.
• Associates degree plus 10 years of work experience may substitute.
• CLS/MLS/MT certification within six months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results promptly per policies.
• Contribute to the Department's Quality Control, Quality Assurance, maintenance and safety programs.
• Evaluate and write procedures for new methods; participate in teaching, continuing education and supervisory activities.
• Perform other related duties with minimal supervision.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science

Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician Plus 10 years of work experience

Registered Clinical Laboratory Science – CLS/MLS/MT certification within six months of hire
