Chatsworth Commons Senior Living in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Med Tech to accurately pass medications, maintain records, and support residents daily.

• Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.

  As part of our employee benefits, eligible team members receive a monthly phone stipend:
• $25/month - Full-Time
• $12.50/month - Part-Time

The stipend begins following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

Responsibilities of a Med Tech:

• Pass medications according to physician orders and in accordance with facility policy. Administer accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the residents' record.
• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.
• Follow facility Residents' Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.

Qualifications of a Med Tech:

• MedTech experience or certification.
• Experience in administering medications.
• Min 1-2 years worked in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• BLS/CPR certified
