• Associate or bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology preferred.
• One year in a hospital setting is beneficial.
• Board certification by ASCP, HEW or other equivalent certification body required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and processing, test performance, and reporting of laboratory test results.
• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen collection and processing, timely test analysis and maintaining records.
• Perform proficiency testing and maintain records to demonstrate compliant handling of patient samples.
