Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a Medical Technologist to perform automated, semi-automated, and manual testing across several disciplines, including bacteriology, hematology, chemistry, and immunology.

You will ensure specimen integrity and quality control, perform maintenance, and support a broad range of laboratory tests in a high-volume clinical setting within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent with national certification requirements.
• Alternative paths include 3 years of related study with 12 months of approved training and national certification.
• Other acceptable routes include a degree in chemical/physical/biological sciences with relevant testing experience and certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory tests.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance; assess results for acceptability.
• Ensure specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
