Qualifications

• Meets the requirements to be licensed as a Medical Technologist (NAC 652.420) or Specialty Technologist (NAC 652.483) in the State of Nevada.
• Valid State of Nevada license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Specialty Technologist is required or temporary employment for up to six months may be granted with license process initiated.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex laboratory analyses according to established protocols.
• Calibrates equipment, runs quality control, and maintains instrument performance.
• Assists in training staff and students in departmental rotations.
• Ensures accurate test results and communicates findings to physicians when appropriate.
