Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosis and monitoring. The role requires following established procedures, collecting and analyzing specimens, and operating laboratory equipment with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and licensure as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT) (preferred).

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure as Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT) preferred.
• Licensure to reflect education requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosis or monitoring.
• Follows standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing.
• Collects and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities.
• Collects blood and studies samples used in transfusions.
• Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality, efficient manner.
• Reports results to physicians or nurses and documents findings.
