Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related science required.
• Certification as MLT/CLT or HEW proficiency required; ASCP/NCA certification or equivalent preferred.
• State licensure required, if applicable, and must be maintained.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, testing methodologies, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct examinations and prepare reagents across Serology, Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Urinalysis.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments, perform daily maintenance, and ensure quality control.
• Enter and maintain accurate records and documentation; support shift coverage including evenings, nights, and on-call as needed.
• Prepare samples for shipment to reference facilities and local labs; ensure proper specimen handling and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; comply with regulatory requirements and safety policies.
