Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (or related field with MT training) and ASCP certification, with at least one year of MT experience. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a BS in Chemical/Biological/Physical Science with MT training
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (pipettes, analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform high and moderate complexity testing as part of patient care
• Analyze, review, and report testing results accurately
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
