Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA, operating through Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc., seeks a Medical Technologist for the 3rd shift in Austin, TX. You will perform moderate and high complexity testing, analyze results, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced laboratory.

Required are a BS in Medical Technology (or related BS with MT training), 1 year MT lab experience, and ASCP certification. Excellent reading, writing, and analytical skills are essential for patient‑care accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or BS in Chemical/ Biological/ Physical Science with MT training and 1 year MT training
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high and moderate complexity testing to support patient care
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective actions are needed and implement solutions
• Work in a lab with hazardous biological and chemical materials
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
