Job summary

Blood Assurance is seeking a compassionate, dependable 2nd shift, full-time Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Chattanooga lab team. The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm, with a shift differential.

Primary duties include donor testing and reference lab work. Qualified candidates must have MLS/MT/MLT ASCP certification and AS/BS degree; blood bank experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• MLS Certification, MT or MLT ASCP Certification required.
• AS/BS degree required.
• Blood bank experience preferred but not required.

The responsibilities for the Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist include preparation of blood and blood components, labeling of blood, shipment of blood, and various clerical tasks.
