Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Medical Technologist to support a leading nonclinical research organization focused on drug development and laboratory animal studies. This onsite role is based in Gaithersburg, MD.

You will operate laboratory instrumentation, perform clinical pathology testing including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis, and ensure data quality in GLP-compliant studies. Collaboration with Study Directors and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis.
• Experience reading blood smears and performing manual microscopy reviews.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• GLP knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ADVIA 2120 instrumentation highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Study Directors and laboratory staff to support ongoing research studies.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually
