Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs assigned laboratory tests in the following departments: Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Limited duties in histology. Reports results in accordance with the laboratorys procedure manuals and ensures that applicable quality control requirements are met.

JOB RELATIONSHIP

Reports to Laboratory Medical Director, Technical Director and Assistant Laboratory Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an approved Medical Technology School or Allied Health (4 year program)

MT (ASCP), or equivalent/eligible.

Licensure: None

Experience: Two years laboratory experience. Computer Skills required
