Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a MedTech to assist with medication administration, record-keeping, and resident care in a licensed senior living facility.

The role requires adherence to policy, strong attention to detail, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Certifications and resident safety are prioritized, with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MedTech certification or equivalent required.
• Experience administering medications in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1–2 years in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and in accordance with facility policy. Administer accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.
• Follow facility Residents’ Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.
