Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky seeks a Medical Technologist/MLS to join our laboratory team. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science, with nursing degrees plus CLIA courses considered, and licensure/registry within 12 months.

Preferred candidates hold a MLS degree; AMT/ASCP approved registries accepted. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment within a 170+ bed acute care facility.

Education: Required -Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological, Chemical or Physical Science. Nursing Degree will be considered with the required CLIA acceptable courses.

Preferred -Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science

Licensure/Certifications: Required-Successful completion of registry within 12 months of hire for anyone with a hire date on or after 1.1.2005. Continuing education to maintain registry/licensure as required. AMT and ASCP accepted.

Acceptable - Registry/Licensure in a specialty area will be considered.

Preferred-ASCP/ AMT/NCA/HEW. Continuing Education To Maintain Registry/licensure As Required.
