Job description

• Full Time - Nights - 1000-2030 or 1300-2330

The lab provides a fast-paced environment and requires strong team players. Each team member is expected to help in all areas of the lab, including chemistry, hematology, and serology.

A typical day will include: Receiving requests from physicians for laboratory tests, obtaining specimens using established laboratory techniques, calibrating, maintaining, and operating equipment necessary to perform tests, reporting test results to designated areas in a timely manner, and performing daily surveillance of test results, work records, and quality controls in the department under supervision.

This position is: Full-time nights with shift differential.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree and completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution
• Experience: Adequate experience to obtain ASCP or AMT certification within 6 months of hire
• Skills: Detail-oriented, teamwork, communication
• Licensure/Certification: ASCP or AMT, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
