Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Illinois. This role requires an IL license, 2+ years of RN experience with recent 12 months in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry, and Epic is preferred.

The schedule features Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with three shifts per week (12-hour shifts) and potential floating to additional units and locations. Local and travel opportunities are available within 50 miles as local.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

• Unit Details:- Patient population includes CHF, diabetes, end-of-life, and medical patients; some require telemetry.- Nurse-patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5 on nights.- No titratable drips.- No ventilators; respiratory therapy monitors BiPAP and CPAP.- Nurses monitor telemetry using SpaceLab monitors; a telemetry monitor technician is available 24/7.
• Shift & Scheduling:- RN travelers must work every other weekend. Day-shift weekends are Saturday/Sunday.- RN travelers must work every other holiday. Day-shift holidays are Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.- No call.
• Floating Requirements:- Float to 4West (Med-Surg) and occasionally to ICU for general overflow patients.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
