Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only, local not allowed.
• Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials

• RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details

• Direct patient care on the Med-Surg-Telemetry-Oncology unit. Adult and geriatric patient population. Acutely ill Med/Surg patients; patients transitioning from ICU; cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring and IV medications, including antiarrhythmic medications and heparin; patients requiring BiPAP.

Shift & Scheduling

• BJC policy: Every other weekend required. No call. RTO: 7 days within a 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements

• May be required to float to Med/Surg between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East/Shiloh as needed and may be asked to float within the facility.
